Mikos Da Gawd is a name we should all be familiar with by now, either for his work with the Soulection crew or for the production he lent to Anderson .Paak's game-changing 2014 album Venice. If for some reason you're not familiar, then now is the perfect time because the San Francisco native is preparing for the release of his Hell Yeah, Brother! album next month.
Ahead of that, we're being treated to "Alpines", an enriching and soulful rap track aided by Oakland rappers Ricky Lake and Young Ocean. It's long been known by Mikos Da Gawd fans that he excels when working with singers and rappers alike and the few names we've already seen attached to the project suggest we're going to see the best examples of that yet.
